Where is our office located?

13006 Philadelphia St., Suite 210, Whittier, CA 90601 in the historic Bank of America building at the corner of Greenleaf and Philadelphia.  We also offer Video Therapy which you can access anywhere in the USA.  In order to use our video therapy option- your primary residence must be in the state of CA, and you must live a majority of time in California.

What is your fee?

Sessions are billed at 185 for the initial session, 165 for follow up sessions.  Group fees are 50/per group. Our associates can be seen for a sliding scale between 90 and 120 if needed.  Licensed clinicians do not have sliding scales. We do accept some insurances (see below).

How long does therapy take?

For each client therapy times vary.  Generally speaking, therapy is most effective with at least 6 months of sessions; however, sometimes you may see a benefit after 1 session, or no benefit until 1 year.  Therapy is highly individualized.

What should I expect on my first visit?

On your first visit, we generally ask a lot of questions to get to know you, we review informed consent, important policies, and talk about your expectations and goals for therapy. Therapy is a process, and it starts with building a strong and solid relationship.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, some of our clinicians accept all Cigna, Aetna, and LA Care, Optum, United Healthcare, and we can work out of network with Anthem Blue Cross PPO and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.  For any other POS or PPO plans, we accept payment in full from the client, and client can submit for reimbursement.

What is our cancellation policy?

We require 48 hour notice. If you no show/no call, we will bill you for the full fee with no exceptions and will terminate you as a client.  We will work with clients who have an established relationship, and have not late cancelled in the last 3 months.  We understand that people get sick and have emergencies- as we therapists also get sick and have emergencies.  Please, know that your therapist will cancel if they are ill in order to prevent you from getting ill too. We can always do a video session instead of your regularly scheduled in office session.  We’ll make it work for you!
